Jin-Xuan is a specially cultivated variety of the tea tree using for producing Oolong tea with a special fragrance and slight creaminess. The tea leaves are handpicked from highland tea plantations at altitude
1450 meters and above. Jin Xuan Milk Oolong Tea prossesses thick leaves pale greenish yellow shade, rich with tea oils and silky texture. The infusion is rich with barely sweet, milky smooth taste and very light floral aroma. 100% natural organic premium tea without any flavorings. Light sweet milky taste is feature of premium quality.
The water using to infuse this tea should be about 185-195F. Use about 2 tsp (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 oz (150 ml) of water. Infusion time is about 3-5 minutes, depending on the desired concentration. Keep in mind that the higher is the temperature of the water or the greater is the amount of leaves used, the shorter should be infusion time. The tea leaves should totally uncurled for full flavor.
To get the best results brewing oolong tea, is recommended to use traditional Chinese Yixing teapot. The teapot should be half filled with leaves and initially infused for 45 sec – 1 min with the infusion time increased by 15 seconds for each next infusion.
The leaves can be infused several times.
